Sumit wins javelin gold to become first Indian man to defend title in Paralympics
Sumit Antil on Monday became the first Indian man to successfully defend a Paralympic title, securing gold in the F64 category at the Paris Games. He set a new Paralympics record with a throw of 70.59 meters, surpassing his Tokyo mark. Sumit joins Avani Lekhara in the exclusive club of Indian athletes with consecutive Paralympic wins.
