India achieves best-ever medal haul in Paralympics, surpasses Tokyo Games tally

India's track and field athletes delivered an outstanding performance at the Paralympics in Paris, helping the country achieving a record medal haul of 20. The tally includes 3 golds, 7 silvers, and 10 bronzes. Notable contributions came from javelin throwers Ajeet Singh and Sundar Singh Gurjar, high jumpers Sharad Kumar and Mariyappan Thangavelu, and sprinter Deepthi Jeevanji. India is now ranked 17th.
