Warner breaks Tendulkar and de Villiers' World Cup record
Australia opener David Warner broke Sachin Tendulkar's record for the fastest to reach 1,000 World Cup runs in 19 innings against India. Warner outpaced Tendulkar and AB de Villiers, who both achieved the feat in 20 innings. Warner's record was sealed by hitting a boundary off Hardik Pandya's delivery.
