'Rohit will be the captain for T20 World Cup, not Pandya'
Former opener Aakash Chopra shared his belief that Rohit Sharma is poised to lead the Indian side in the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup, set to unfold from June 1 to June 29, co-hosted by the West Indies and the United States. During his commentary on his YouTube channel, Aakash highlighted the likelihood of Rohit assuming the captaincy role due to Hardik Pandya's ongoing fitness challenges, hindering the all-rounder's current participation. Recently, the ICC revealed the complete schedule for the tournament, showcasing India's clash against arch-rivals Pakistan on June 9 in New York.
