Kapil Parmar wins historic judo bronze for India at Paralympics
Kapil Parmar won India's first Paralympic judo medal, clinching bronze in the men's 60kg (J1) category in Paris by defeating Brazil's Elielton de Oliveira with a score of 10-0. Previously, he secured a silver medal at the 2022 Asian Games and overcame Venezuela's Marco Dennis Blanco in the quarterfinals.
