'I didn't remove Virat Kohli from captaincy', reiterates Sourav Ganguly
The strained relationship between Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly took center stage in the media spotlight when Kohli chose to resign from the T20I captaincy following India's disappointing performance in the 2021 T20 World Cup. Kohli subsequently stepped down from the ODI and Test captaincy as well. However, he perplexed the entire cricket community by asserting his desire to retain the ODI and Test captaincy, emphasizing that the BCCI had not approached him to reconsider his decision to resign as the T20I skipper.
