Chess World Cup: Vidit Gujrathi outsmarts 12-year-old prodigy Faustino Oro

Indian Grandmaster Vidit Gujrathi advanced to the third round of the FIDE World Cup 2025 after defeating 12-year-old Faustino Oro. Young stars Pranav V and Pranesh M also secured their spots in the next stage with impressive victories. Gujrathi praised Oro as a "special" talent among the new generation of computer-trained players.
