Afghanistan extend head coach Jonathan Trott's contract

Afghanistan's cricket board has extended head coach Jonathan Trott's contract for an additional year, recognizing his significant contributions to the team's success. Trott took over in July 2022 and has led the team to several notable achievements, including a successful performance at the T20 Asia Cup 2022, a maiden international win, a T20I series victory against Pakistan, and their first-ever ODI series victory over Bangladesh. Afghanistan also had a commendable campaign at the ODI World Cup.
